Mission Accomplished : Kerala To Mt. Everest Base Camp

Mount For Future 2015  - Kerala To Mt. Everest Base Camp  5364 M  ASL :

Time really flies and how!! Six months ago, I decided to take a leap of faith and decided to go trekking. This might not sound exciting or adventurous and this was not the first time i went for trekking but to undertake a trek to the Everest Base Camp was really crazy.

After 12 days of trekking i successfully accomplished my mission on 28th February 2015 at the peak of afternoon at 13:45 pm. Behind this trek was a hidden motive to raise awareness among the youngsters about the importance of health.  The trek went exactly as planned, yet was nothing like I’d envisioned. The temperature at the Base camp was -14 degree and because of the bad atmospheric pressure and winds blowing at a speed of 80km, i could only spend 30 minutes  in Base Camp .  It  took me 7 days  to reach the Base Camp  from the place where i started my trek (Lukla)  and the total trekking  days  were 11 nights and 12 days. The total distance trekked  was almost  140 kilometers. The weather condition was totally bad and there was heavy snow fall  for the three days and made it so difficult to return back . I hoisted my  Project Banner  at the Base camp with my guide Phurba  Sherpa  and  i placed  my banner  in   YETTI   House  at Gorekshep  which is the last camp for  all trekkers to mt. Everest.  And  After 5 days of trek  i retuned back to Lukla and that marks the  end of my trek. At  Lukla   from  Tenzing Hilarry  Airport i  flew back to Kathmandu. Because of bad weather  the  International Airport was closed and  i missed my flight .   On 9th after opening the International  Airport  i flew to  Delhi and from there  to Cochin kerala, my home .

When I come to think of it now, I was not crazy but I underestimated the difficulty of trekking the Himalayas. The trail was like a roller coaster. You either go up or go down, making my journey descending as equally tired as ascending.

Its a great life experience and also realised  The great  importance of a strong health and will power which can face any critical  situation and to move forward .  there is only  ONE AIM  that to reach the  destination  Mt. Everest Base camp  for a cause and  there is no"shortcuts to  Mountains".  "tougher  makes you tough". And i Did It  After facing all the High Altitide  health  problms .

Over Every Mountain there is path  although it may not been seen from the valley  so i keep on moving to achieve  my  goal .....  If  yes  i can  definitely you  all can..

On the Behalf I would like to thank for all  my whole Team and Supporters  which helped me to  Complete  my Mission :
